CRAFT: Monster Teeth Treat Bags (Silhouette Project)

Mmm...candy corn. I bought a bag of it to make this craft and it was gone the next day. I just can't get enough of the stuff! Maybe it's because it's a seasonal thing, but probably more because I'm a sugar addict. I have the same problem with eggnog at Christmas. And jellybeans at Easter. OK, I have a junk food  problem in general, but admitting it is the first step. Maybe that doesn't matter since I have no intention of kicking my habit though :)

I wanted to come up with a fun project to make with candy corn and was inspired by this idea on It Is What It Is for filling little bags with "pumpkin teeth." I wanted to design something myself along those same lines, so I used my Silhouette Cameo to make these little snack tags for "monster teeth" with a little monster on the front with candy corn for teeth. My daughter loves them! She now calls candy corn "monster teeth."

My daughter goes to preschool, so these little Halloween-themed snack bags were prefect for bringing to school to share with her friends when it was our turn to bring the snack. Each child gets their own little baggie of "monster teeth!" They would also be great for handing out at Halloween.

If you want to make your own monster teeth bags, just print on cardstock and cut my free tags using your Silhouette or Cameo. You can download the Silhouette Studio file HERE (sorry, but the file is only available in Studio format since I used my Silhouette Cameo to make them.)  Fold in half and use a stapler to staple the tags to plastic snack or sandwich bags, and that's it!

Trick or treat!
